Women Cell

1. Goals/Objectives of Department:-

To solve the problems of students i.e. personnel, social, as well as family problems.
To make a healthy environment for students in the college as well as in society.
To aware them about their duties, rights & social values.

2. Future Career Prospects:-

To teach students how to fight against social evils.
To enable students how to improve their self confidence.
To enable students how to maintain their social status.
To enable students how to improve education, health, through discussion and speech delivered by dignitaries, poetry competition, essay competition and any other different type of topics conducted in the college.
To know their duties and rights and to make use of them.

3. Activities (2021-22):-

On 10th Jan 2022, women Cell on International Hindi day, organized an essay competition on the topic Importance of Hindi Language in World
On International Women’s Day (8th March 2022), an essay writing and slogan writing competition were organized, and employees of PNB Bank honoured teachers with roses.
On 26th April 2022, Smt. Savitri Verma expressed her thoughts, and S.M.O Dr. Priti Malik from HAU guided to resolve the individual issues of students.
On 7th March 2022, a blood donation camp was organized, and 85 units of blood were collected.

Activities (2022-23):-

On 17th October 2022, SHO Naresh Duhan provided information on Media Cyber Crime and the helpline number 1930 during Cyber Week, as instructed by Superintendent of Police Lokender Singh.
On 5th December 2022, HDFC Bank and Agroha Medical College collectively organized a Blood Donation Camp, where 65 students donated blood. The college also celebrated Soil Day.
On 1st January 2023, the college purchased sanitary napkins for the students.
